A few things worth knowing before you step inside.

Is ZensualiTEA a traditional tea party?

No. Tea is one of the threads running through the experience, but this is an immersive sensory event rather than traditional afternoon tea.

Do I need to know anything about tea?

No. Curiosity is considerably more useful than expertise.

Is this a spiritual event?

There may be ritual, symbolism, hypnosis, sound, or contemplative moments, but ZensualiTEA isn’t built around a particular spiritual belief or practice.

Do I have to participate in everything?

You’ll always have agency over your body and participation. Some degree of willingness to trust is part of what makes the experience work, though.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. A lot of people do.

Is food served?

Every edition is different. Specific food, beverage, allergy, and dietary information will be provided with that event’s registration details.

What should I wear?

Each ZensualiTEA may have its own atmosphere or dress suggestion. You’ll receive everything you need to know before the event.

 

Where is it?

Salt Lake City. The exact venue may remain part of the mystery until closer to the experience.

Is every ZensualiTEA the same?

No. That would ruin all the fun. The underlying world remains recognizable, but each edition can introduce new tastes, stories, interactions, sensory experiences, and surprises.
